TODAY IS ALL SAINTS SUNDAY, when we pause to remember our loved-ones who have died and who now rest in the eternal life given to us through our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. May we all receive comfort and hope as we grieve. This year we remember Eva Collins, Cheryl Heinold’s mother; Claude Seward, Cheryl Heinold’s uncle; and Sandra Caldwell, a former parishioner of Pr. Oman.
FOUR ACTS OF PRAYER STUDY Tuesday evenings at 7:00 we will continue a study on prayer, entitled: The Four Acts of Prayer, a study by Walter Wangren, Jr. It is a wonderful study on prayer, and will help us in our prayer life. The study will surround us with the wonderful gift of prayer. Plan to come and grow in the gift of prayer. Invite friends.
THE ANNUAL MEETING OF THE CONGREGATION will be held following worship on Sunday, November 10, 2019. Just a reminder that voting members of the congregation are confirmed members who have communed and made a financial contribution of record during the current or preceding calendar year. Members of this congregation who have satisfied these basic standards shall have the privilege of voice and vote at every regular and special meeting of the congregation.

In Remembrance of those who have died this past year.
Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. Whoever believes in me, though he die, yet shall he live, and everyone who lives and believes in me shall never die.
(John 11:25-26 ESV)
We give thanks for all the faithful departed who now rest from their labors and dwell in His eternal light. With affection and love we remember those dear to us who have died in the faith, especially those who were members, family and friends of New Beginnings Lutheran Church. May their memory stir our faith and love and deepen our hope of sharing the endless feast won through Christ’s victory over death.
Member Funerals/Memorials since the last All Saints Sunday:
Eva Collins 10/17/2019
Non-member Funerals/Memorials
Sandra Caldwell 6/1/2019
Claude Seward 10/18/2019
Because we are baptized into Christ’s death and resurrection, by grace through faith we are given salvation. We have chosen candles to light to represent our eternal life in Christ. The votive candle may be taken home by a member of the family in remembrance of their baptized loved one after the worship service.
