VBS HELPER SIGN UP SHEETS- This summer we are going to combine the VBS with B.O.B. summer camp. The “VBS/Summer” camp will meet the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays in June and July with VBS from 10-12:30 and camp from 12-2:30. VBS will be for 2y/o thru 5th graders and B.O.B. camp will be for K thru 5th. The VBS morning will include Bible studies, crafts, games and lunch. The B.O.B. camp will have lunch, outings and other activities. We will need volunteers to help with VBS and preparing lunch for the kids. We realized it was hard for people to commit for a full week so thought it may be easier to help out two days a month. You can sign up to help all 4 days or for 1 day. For VBS only we will be looking for Bible study, crafts, and game leader/leaders. Sign up sheets to help with VBS are in the narthex. Dates are June 11 & 25 and July 9 & 23 from 10 am to 12:30. Please prayerfully consider spending time with our church and community children this summer. Volunteers are what makes our VBS fun and successful!

WHAT DOES THE FUTURE LOOK HOLD? We don’t know for sure, but, we can plan for the future. We will be holding a future planning workshop on Wednesday, June 5th, at 7:00 p.m. here at New Beginnings. The workshop will include information on advanced directives related to health care and power of attorney, advanced funeral planning, and information to pass on to loved ones that they will need in the future. The workshop is designed to make future health and life transitions easier for all involved. Please sign up on the sheets in the narthex so that we will have enough materials for all who plan to come.
