HONORING OUR VETERANS On this Veteran’s Day weekend we pause to remember and give thanks for the men and women of our country who have served in the armed services. We are establishing a display to honor the veterans of New Beginnings Lutheran Church. Part of the display includes a flag that Carole Tempel’s brother Andrew McCowen carried with him in his Blackhawk helicopter during missions in Afghanistan, and a plaque listing some of the missions his unit was involved with. Another part of the display will include a plaque with the names, branch of service, and dates of service for members of New Beginnings Lutheran Church. The list we have so far is:

YOUTH GROUP ASSISTANT NEEDED B.O.B Youth Group is looking for an assistant to help with our program. This is a great opportunity for someone that enjoys being with kids in Kindergarten thru 5th grade to help with our after school program each Wednesday from 3:00 to 4:45.
