WALK FOR WATER OCTOBER 7 Walk for Water is one month away on Oct 7. We will need help the day of the walk. There is a sign-up sheet in the narthex for where volunteers are needed and what you can do to help out. If you haven’t signed up for the walk yet there are 2 teams set up or you can make your own. We will be having breakfast items before the walk and lunch after the walk. We will also be giving prizes for the largest team, the team and individual that collects the most money. If you want to order a T-shirt ($10), contact the church office rather than ordering online. The T-shirts will be ordered by Sept 16 and be available to be picked up and paid for the day of the race. Let’s all work together to make this most successful Walk for Water we have sponsored yet!

REGISTER NOW FOR WALK FOR WATER The link to register for The Walk For Water is now finished and can be accessed thru the email newsletter or on our website. Talk to your friends and family, workplace or organizations, sports teams about having a team and think about sponsors that you can talk to for your team or yourself. The registration fee is adults – $10, youth – $5 and children free. There is also the opportunity to order tee shirts for $10, orders must be in by Sept 16. ST. JOHN’S LUTHERAN CHURCH RE-DEDICATION CEREMONY St. John’s Lutheran Church in Danforth cordially invites you to a re-dedication program for a refurbished church pipe organ on Sunday, Sept. 17 at 3:30 p.m. in the church sanctuary. Keith Williams from Buzard Pipe Organ Builders and principal organist will narrate the program and conduct an open door tour of the organ pipe room following the concert. A fellowship hour will follow. A free will offering will be taken. The church is located at 308 North Front St. and 2200 N. Rd on the west side of the railroad tracks in Danforth.
