Let us pray for the whole people of God in Jesus Christ and for all people according to their needs.

Almighty and Eternal God, your glory fills all creation. Open us to a greater awareness of your glory each day. May we never forget that every day is a new beginning. Let us not fail to ask for your presence in all that we do, and say. Direct our thoughts so that our lives reflect our connection to you. Please shine through our lives, as we remember that every day is a gift in which you are our joy and strength. LIYM

Bless the people of this congregation with love, respect, and kindness towards each other, so that others in the community may truly know we are followers. Fill us with wisdom and prudence: and give us generosity and boldness as we look to the future you open to us. LIYM

Today as we recognize Father’s Day.. we ask your blessing upon all Father’s and we especially thank you for all those that conduct themselves as Fatherly figures to all children. You are the perfect Father. Please speak to the hearts and minds of those that choose to be absent, abusive or disrespectful to their children. Share your deep gentleness, steadfastness, tenderness and wisdom. We pray for fathers and children wo are in a strained relationship. May there be healing and forgiveness where needed. LIYM

Pour out upon the leaders of the nations the Spirit of wisdom and understanding, counsel and might. Teach them to love justice; to act with mercy toward all people and walk humbly before you Heavenly Father. May there be peaceful resolutions in areas where some feel they are not treated fairly. May those that have a voice – work to promote respect, unity and not division. LIYM

Oh Lord, we pray for all who suffer in body, mind or spirit. May there be renewal of your healing presence. We pray today for those whose concerns are known to all we name before your and those that we name in our hearts.

May those who love and care each of these we name, be guided and comforted by the knowledge that you are our faithful God, fulfilling your promise to remember your children always. And guided by your Holy Spirit, we place into your care, all for whom we pray, trusting in your mercy, for the sake of your son Jesus.
