Lord and Provider, we ask that you hear our prayers. Help us clear our minds and focus on your presence as we join together in prayer.
Lord and Provider, we thank you for all you have given us, far beyond our needs. Give us all strength to be more like you: Not to be boastful; Not to speak evil of anyone, or to violate the trust others share with us. Help us not to shut others out, but to include all, since we are but one family. You make a dry tree flourish and a green tree dry up. Help us to flourish like the dry tree which you nurture. Lord in your mercy, Hear our prayer.
Lord and Provider, we praise you for revealing your gospel to prophets, preachers, and leaders in your church. Inspire their continuing faithful proclamation of one true God’s return. Make your presence known in New Beginnings. Give us such a clear and bold share of your Spirit that your life and vitality shine through us into our neighborhood. Work through us to be volunteers, active participants and prayer warriors in such ways that we spread your name through Lifetree Café, VBS, Men’s Monday lunch and any communal gathering offered here. Lord in your mercy, Hear our prayer.
Lord and Provider, we know that when Jesus returns we will finally experience your peace. Until that time, watch over our men and women in uniform, those at home and those in harm’s way, that they may know your presence and be a living witness to your love. Bring your presence to the nations and to the leaders that they may act in wisdom and in accordance to your will. Lord, in your mercy, Hear our prayer.
Lord and Provider, you see the needs of those who suffer. When we are sick, tend to us and to our neighbors, and give us gratitude when we are well. We pray especially for all those on our church prayer list, in our hearts, and for Christians and all individuals who suffer from persecution. May all these people and their families, whatever their needs, feel your presence and comfort. Lord, in your mercy, Hear our prayer.
Lord and Provider, protect us as we leave this place and as we go about our business, work and leisure in the coming week. Be by our side as we openly share our Christian faith with humility and love. We lift our prayers to you, O God, trusting your promise to hear us; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
