The Daily Life of the “Hidden Homeless” Explored at Lifetree Café

The daily struggles and experiences of the transitionally homeless population will be explored at Lifetree Café

The program, titled “A Day in the Life of the Hidden Homeless,” features a filmed interview with Latoshia Jackson, a mother of eight who has been homeless for the past year. Jackson became homeless after her Memphis, TN, home was destroyed by a tornado.

“Being homeless is chaotic and stressful, but right now it is just what we have to do,” says Jackson. “It feels like we are facing an existence of day-to-day survival.”

Admission to the 60-minute Lifetree event is free.
