THE DAILY STRUGGLES AND EXPERIENCES OF THE TRANSITIONALLY HOMELESS POPULATION WILL BE EXPLORED AT LIFETREE CAFÉ WEDNESDAY AT 6:30 PM. The program, titled “A Day in the Life of the Hidden Homeless,” features a filmed interview with Latoshia Jackson, a mother of eight who has been homeless for the past year. Jackson became homeless after her Memphis, TN, home was destroyed by a tornado.
“Being homeless is chaotic and stressful, but right now it is just what we have to do,” says Jackson. “It feels like we are facing an existence of day-to-day survival.”
