Safe water access will be critical as the people of Nepal begin to rebuild. Would you pray with us for the people of Nepal and other regions affected by this disaster who have been left with nothing? In collaboration with partners, Water Missions is sending water treatment equipment capable of providing up to 75,000 people with safe water. The equipment includes chlorination devices and five Living Water™ Treatment Systems. THE NEXT NORTH AMERICAN LUTHERAN CHURCH CONVOCATION will be held this August in Dallas, TX. The dates are: Wednesday August 12 through Friday, August 14th. The theme is a very timely theme: Martyr, Life-giving Witness; and is based on Acts 26:16-18. Many of our brothers and sisters in the faith are facing martyrdom for the Name of Jesus; this will be a time to hear their witness, to keep them in prayer, and to be strengthened in faith as the world becomes increasingly hostile to the message of Jesus. This is also the business meeting of the NALC. We need a voting delegate to attend. If you would like to attend, or would like more information, please contact Pastor Oman.
