Below are announcements made at the February 15th service.
HEAVENLY GROUNDS (VOLUNTARY CONTRIBUTION) It has been two years since we started a tradition to help stock our kitchen pantry with coffee. It was very well received and our supply is exhausted. Once again, we are suggesting to bring in a large can of FOLGER’S classic coffee – regular or decaf, for use during our fellowship hour or any other church function. Thank you for your support.
LIFETREE CAFÉ TONIGHT: The program, titled “Why, God? When Personal Tragedy Doesn’t Make Sense,” features an original film depicting the true story of Thomas Vander Woude, who found his son struggling for his life after a backyard accident. According to Lifetree Café representative Craig Cable, “When tragedy strikes, many people question how God could allow such suffering. This Lifetree program addresses this question head-on.”

LADIES JOIN US FOR GARDEN GETAWAY ON FEBRUARY 21ST! “There is a time and season for everything,” said the writer of Ecclesiastes. He might as well have been thinking of women when he wrote this, because our lives are always changing from one season to the next! Some of these seasons are full of daisies and roses…and others feel more like a mess of thorns and weeds. But the good news is that God is here to walk with us through every new phase of life, and we have each other to share the journey. Registration and check in is from 8:30-9:00 am. We will begin at 9:00 and finish by 4:30 pm. The cost of the retreat is only $10 per person and covers delicious snacks, lunch and fun and refreshing activities. Register today and invite a friend!
